Submission Policy (as of October 1, 2007)

The Theatre @ Boston Court does not accept unsolicited manuscripts. From Southern California playwrights only, we are pleased to consider a one-page script synopsis with character breakdown, production history, resume, and the first ten to fifteen pages of the script (plus a CD demo if the play is a musical). We cannot consider one-acts or children's/youth plays, or plays that have had a production in the Southern California area.   Submissions not meeting these criteria will not be considered.  

We strongly suggest that you visit our mission statement, current season and production history to determine if your work is appropriate for our theater.  

Please include a self-addressed, stamped envelope or post card for us to respond, or for return of work samples.

As with all theatres, response time will depend on the number of current submissions for review. We will attempt to respond within 90 days.
