Bryan Davidson is a Los Angeles-based writer. His play "War Music" was premiered in 2002 by Echo Theatre Company and Playwrights' Arena (L.A. Times, top ten "Notable Shows of 2002"), and was produced at the Geffen Playhouse in 2004, directed by Jessica Kubzansky. Other recent productions include "Banned and Burned in America," a commission from the Greenway Court Theater on banned books and "Reflecting Back," a play for youth commissioned by Cornerstone Theater Company. In 2005 he was Resident Playwright at the William Inge Festival in Independence, Kansas. As a dramaturge, he has worked with organizations such as Native Voices at the Autry National Center, the Mark Taper Forum, ASK Theater Projects and the Los Angeles Philharmonic.
