Liza Tognazzini is a stage and production manager hailing from a family of dancers, singers, musicians and performers from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. As a graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada’s Technical Production program, Tognazzini specialized in stage and production management, as well as technical direction, under the guidance of Norberts Muncs.
Since moving to Los Angeles in 2006, Tognazzini has been seen at A Noise Within in Glendale, having stage managed “Loot,” “Dear Brutus,” and “As You Like It” (Ovation nominee, Best Play, directed by Michael Michetti). Tognazzini first joined the family at Boston Court last summer as the production stage manager of “Paradise Lost: Shadows and Wings.” Other favorite projects include the 2007 Hollywood Awards, where she was assistant producer, production & administrative manager for Springboard Dance (Calgary, AB), and her 2-year term as a director-at-large for the Canadian Institute for Theatre Technology (CITT). She has worked for numerous theatre and dance companies back home, including Blue Collar Dance Company, Vertigo Mystery Theatre, Stage West Calgary, Ghost River Theatre, The Loose Moose Theatre Company, and Just for Laughs Comedy Festival (Montreal). |
